Shuttle Buses

We're delighted to be able to offer complimentary shuttle buses to and from Rickmansworth train station at the following times:

  1. Wednesday 10th Sept. Buses will run every 20 minutes from Rickmansworth train station to Woodoaks Farm from 7am - 11am and  again from 5pm – 11pm

  2. Thursday 11th Sept: Buses will run every 20 minutes from Rickmansworth train station to Woodoaks Farm from 7am – 6pm.

Hotels and B&B's​

The Agroforestry Show and its partners don't have a specific hotel/B&B to recommend. However, a selection of examples can be found on TripAdvisor here and Booking.com here.
 

Polite requests

  • While at the event, we ask that you kindly follow the principles of the Countryside Code.

  • Please use bins provided – we are aiming to leave no trace.

  • The event site has uneven ground in places due to the nature of the outdoor location.

  • Please stay on dedicated walkways where present.

  • Please extinguish any cigarettes properly and do not smoke in any marquees, tents or gazebos.

  • Use of drones is not permitted anywhere on the site.

  • Please respect our neighbours when leaving the site.

  • Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome at the event and campsite 

 

Clothing and personal items 

The Agroforestry Show is an outdoor event, so please be prepared for all weather conditions by bringing appropriate clothing, footwear, hats and suncream.
There will be potable water onsite as well as a number of food and drink vendors, however you may wish to bring your own water and snacks for personal consumption. Please keep all valuable personal belongings on you at all times. 

 

Compliments / Complaints / Comments / Feedback /Behaviours 

We welcome all feedback about The Agroforestry Show and will send out a Feedback Survey after the show. If you have any additional comments please contact info@agroforestryshow.com

Our teams are working hard to make this a great event, we have the right to ask any visitor, volunteer, employees or exhibitor/sponsor to leave site if they are behaving in an unsafe manner that could cause injury to themselves or others or if they are being aggressive or rude to members of the team or other visitors.  

 

Drones 

The use of drones is not permitted anywhere on site.

Filming & Photography 

Filming and photography will be taking place around the site throughout the day by Agroforestry Show team members and select partners. Please let us know at the registration desk if you would prefer not to be included in any videos. Th

 

First Aid & Emergency Procedures 

  • First Aid is located by the entrance and registration area  on the showground. Link here to event map of the showground.

  • In the event of an emergency please dial 999 and contact a member of The Agroforestry Show team immediately. 

  • Emergency vehicles should use the main entrance.

 

Fire Control 

Across the site there will be points of fire extinguishers wherever we foresee a potential risk. They are located at: 

  • Stage area of each tent

  • With each food vendor using electrical or gas-powered equipment 

  • At event control 

  • At a key fire point at the campsite 

 

Anyone discovering a fire or having a fire reported to them must report the incident immediately to the event manager via the quickest method available to them. No one will ever be expected to put themselves in compromising situations which would cause further danger and the safety of staff and event attendees is our priority. However, anyone who feels confident and safe to operate a fire extinguisher may do so using the appropriate extinguisher (information provided at each control point).  

 

Food and Drink 

  • There will be a variety of vendors serving a range of food and drink for sale on Wednesday 10th (daytime and evening) and Thursday 11th (daytime only). There will also be a selection of additional food and coffee vendors.  

  • All drinks will be served in reusable containers and drinking water standpipes are available in the main event area. 

  • Cash and card are accepted. 

  
Info Tent / Event Control 

The Information Tent and event control is open each day and can be found adjacent to the main ticket gate. 

 

Insurance 

It is the responsibility of anyone offering demonstrations to take out and provide proof of adequate insurance cover against the risks that could be incurred in connection with the Show, especially public liability, employer’s liability, personal accidents to staff and all risks to exhibitor’s property or hired property. Demonstrators must send proof of public liability insurance to info@agroforestryshow.com

If you have any press releases or information you would like to share you can leave it at the Media Tent or you can contact the press team using the contact details on the front page of this document. 

 

Programme 

The sessions at The Agroforestry Show take place across four venues as indicated on the site map. Sessions start at 9.30am on Wednesday and 9.00am on Thursday. 

 

Speaking Engagements 

For those with speaking engagements please be at your session venue at least 15 minutes in advance of the start time. Up to date times will be on the website and on display at each venue in the case of last-minute changes. 

 

Security 

We are working with a local security provider to ensure the safety of staff, visitors and exhibitors at The Agroforestry Show. The organisers of The Agroforestry Show, as well as our third-party contractors, will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred to any equipment or property left unattended during the day or overnight at the show. Please ensure all property is kept safe by yourself or a a member of your team, or by storing it in a secure and locked container or ideally offsite overnight. 

 

SPAM Emails 

The Agroforestry Show would never sell delegate contact details so if you are emailed offering an “Agroforestry Show contact list” or similar it should be regarded as SPAM and deleted. Unfortunately, this has become quite common at conferences as bots pick up contact details from show websites with heavy traffic. 

 

Toilets 

Unisex toilets and disabled toilets are located in the campsite and main event area.

 

Water supply 

Drinking water is available from standing pipes in the main event area. 

 

Wi-Fi and phone signal

  • There is no publicly available WiFi available at The Agroforestry Show. 

  • The event site has generally good 4G coverage for mobile phones.
