What is Agroforestry?

Agroforestry is the deliberate integration of trees and shrubs into farming systems. It has the power to improve biodiversity and soil health, cut carbon emissions whilst producing sustainable food and timber. You can find out more about agroforestry here.

 

What is the Agroforestry Show?

The Agroforestry show is a two day event that will bring the farming and forestry communities together to provide knowledge, inspiration and connections to support the widespread adoption of Agroforestry in the UK.

Where is the Agroforestry Show happening?

The show is taking place at Eastbrook Farm, Bishopston (near Swindon). You can see the exact location here.

When is the Agroforestry Show happening?

The show is a day time event and will take place on the 6th and 7th September 2023.

Where can I buy tickets and how much do they cost?

You can find out about ticket options and buy tickets directly from this website by visiting this page.

Are the tickets refundable or transferable?

All ticket sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honoured for the next event date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may transfer your purchase to another person. This must be requested by emailing info.farmingandlanduse@soilassociation.org on or before Monday 28th August at the latest. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

Will there be food and drink available on the day?

Yes! Food and drink will be available for purchase and is being provided by the team at Helen Browning's Royal Oak.

Is there parking?

Yes parking is available, we strongly encourage lift-sharing to reduce the number of cars travelling to the show. All vehicles and their contents are left at their owner's risk.

​

Are dogs allowed at the Agroforestry Show?

Dogs and other personal animals are not allowed at the Agroforestry Show with the exception of guide and assistance animals. Livestock will be present at the show so this decision has been made for the safety of both the farm animals and your own animals.

Who is organising the Agroforestry Show?

The Agroforestry Show is organised by the Soil Association and The Woodland Trust. To learn more about these organisations and the work they do to support Agroforestry please visit this page.

Why are the Soil Association & the Woodland Trust organising the Agroforestry Show?

The Woodland Trust and the Soil Association have worked together on several projects in recent years to help create a substantial and growing interest in agroforestry with both landowners and policy makers. The Agroforestry Show aims to bring the agricultural and forestry sectors together to share knowledge, build industry connections and give all involved the confidence to invest and implement agroforestry at scale.
