Tube Strike and the Agroforestry show 

We are aware of a planned tube strike which will likely affect travel to and from the show on both Wednesday and Thursday. Please check intended routes before you leave and potentially give yourself more time. We have redirected shuttle buses to Denham Station – please see schedule below.

Please read our terms and conditions below before taking part in carpooling to and from the event.

Carpooling terms and conditions

• Participants of the Agroforestry Show are advised that any decision to carpool to the event is voluntary and entirely at the
  discretion of participants and must be coordinated privately and independently of the Agroforestry Show and its partners. 

• No background checks of drivers or participants, driver record checks or insurance checks are undertaken by the Agroforestry
  Show and/or its event partners.

• The Agroforestry Show and its partners do not make any assurances or certifications regarding the condition, suitability or
  safety of the vehicles being used by participants who choose to carpool, the reliability or driving ability of participants or drivers, or whether those participants and drivers are insured.

• It is recommended that participants exercise caution when selecting a potential carpool, and participants should not accept or
  give rides to complete strangers.

• By deciding to voluntarily give a ride or share a ride and carpool, you are agreeing that you are entirely responsible for your own
  safety while driving to and from the event. Carpooling, ride sharing, or similar activities are a private arrangement among
  participants.

• It is the responsibility of individuals participating in a carpool/ride situation to have adequate coverage to protect themselves and
  their passengers.

• It is the responsibility of the individual accepting a ride in a carpool to ensure that the driver of the vehicle has an acceptable
  driving record, is licensed accordingly and has adequate insurance to protect both driver and passenger/s.

• It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure that their vehicle is in good working condition and all maintenance is performed in preparation for any driving conditions. This includes but is not limited to, electronic stability system, brakes, engine, fluid, tyres,
  and all items pertaining to the safety of their vehicle.

• It is also the responsibility of the responsibility of the trip participant to decline a ride from a member that has an unsafe vehicle.

• It is the responsibility of the trip participant to ask a driver about insurance, vehicle maintenance, and driving habits of the driver
  before accepting a ride at their own risk.

• The Agroforestry Show and/or its event partners is in no way responsible for verifying or certifying the reliability, driving ability,
  or insurance status of drivers and participants at The Agroforestry Show. 

• The Agroforestry Show and/or its event partners take no responsibility for any personal injuries, deaths, property damages,
  financial losses or other damages or losses that result from sharing a ride.
