Stephen Briggs

Stephen Briggs mainly produces cereals wheat, barley and oats. In addition to cereals Stephen has integrated 15 varieties of fruit trees (all apples) to create a Silvo-arable system. At 125 acres it is the largest agroforestry system in the UK. He was the winner of the prestigious 2020 Steven and Gillian Bullock Award – for his pioneering work in agroforestry and demonstration of the most successful application of his Nuffield experience 10 years on.
