Hall Farm

James runs a mixed farm on 500ha in Suffolk with a 13ha silvoarable system planted in the winters of 2023 and 2024. Having previously farmed conventionally, he decided in 2021 to give up all pesticides bar the occasional herbicide. He now grows all crops with a companion and plants mixed catch or cover crops following harvest.
